Into The Darkness - Part 3
Jeremy's Journal

Blood...so warm, so precious. Something I cannot live without. I must see it, I must use it, I must...release it. Watching it flow from the bodies of men, women, children...it excites me. I collect it, you see. I bathe in it. My Father, being the Old One and wisest of us all, taught us to respect the blood, to never let it go to waste. Blood...it soothes us, it makes our flesh strong...and it's needed to fulfill our duties to our Father. See, I say we, our, us...because there is more than the One. We are the many. We may look like some fragile brat...but deep within? Within, we have true power. The blood? Our fuel that keeps us going.
I don't drink it, I'm not a vampire, those don't exist except in superstitions and myths from some Eastern European nation, although I have visited there before and I must admit, I prefer the victims there. A certain naivety amongst the population. They bare witness to what I've done, and they claim it to be the work of some beast.
I am a beast, but not of that kind. Some of you wonder who I am, what I am. I know. I know what I am. I am that thing from your nightmares. The thing you don't understand but are so curious about, you'd literally give yourself up to me. You don't know my name, yet you'd willingly call out for it. Humans...pathetic beings. You let me in so easily...just like this one. This flesh I call my home now. Jeremy. I am he, he is us, we are one.
Someone tried to speak to him, tried to get through to him. A doctor of some kind. Once I figured out how to reach him, to break his armor, to show him that the blood...the things the Father could give us...power...knowledge...wealth...it was easy to get inside him. I took the form of that doctor...and now? Well...let's just say...Father...the Old One...He taught me well to respect the blood...to respect the flesh...
So no, Jeremy, no one can save you. The time is coming. Will others let me in? Will others partake in the blood sacrifice? Only Father knows...and Father? He knows all....
