Into The Darkness: My Other Part 2



I've been to Hell and back. I've been to the deepest depths of the darkest parts of my mind, and I found you, my Other. You promised me things, you told me I'd be a star pupil, I'd be given things. All you brought me was blood. Dead bodies. Women, men, children...You've pushed me to a place where I hate the chaos around me. I'm drowning in this dark place you've brought me to.

You are not alone in this place.

 No, I'm not. Because you...you fucking evil, vile, disgusting...beautiful thing...you're here too. You drag me down into these depths because I haven't evolved yet. I haven't become what the Father wants me to be. I'm not ready yet, I haven't lived up to your dreams. In fact...I think I have an idea.

What idea? What are you talking about?

 I won't let you eat anymore. No, from now on I will be the one in control. I'll also find this other one like me. Yes...I'll leave New York, I'll go to Texas, I'll find him or her. I'll drag this person to the darkness with me. They'll never want to leave. We'll find out. We'll find them. They'll become our pupil. And you?

You must let me out to feed...

 NO! NO NO NO! You will NEVER feed again! IT'S MY TIME! I'M IN CONTROL! You're just a thing I used. But I know my POTENTIAL now! I can do this on my own. And the Father will praise me. I'll be given all the power, His love!

You need me.

 I need no one! My power grows every day, my skills as sharp as a scalpel. I'll show you, I'll show them all! We're not finished yet, you and I. For now, though, you'll sleep, and I will be the one to bring this fucking world to it's knees. The High Heavens....the Seven Hells...they'll all bow to me. This Earth, this existence, will know my name.

Mark, you need me...

 Be still, Unclean One...I'm in control now...Texas, here I come. I hope you're ready to learn something...

Zo's Reviews: The Mimic (Jang-san-beom)

  The Mimic is a horror mystery written and directed by South Korean filmmaker Jung Huh and stars Jung-ah Yum, Hyuk-kwon Park, Jin Heo, and is about a mother of a missing child who takes in a lost girl she finds in the woods, but soon begins to wonder if she is even human. I literally just finished watching this film, and even though I shouted it out on my Twitter feed, I just had to come here to write about it right away. I find myself loving Asian horror lately. Between this, Metamorphosis , and Impetigore , I'm finding that there are some very intriguing and intense films coming out of that region that really need to get more eyes on them. So, let's talk about The Mimic ...   Come Play was directed by Jacob Chase and stars John Gallagher Jr. as Marty, Gillian Jacobs as Sarah, a couple of parents with a special needs child named Oliver (played by Azhy Robertson). Oliver is a lonely young boy who feels different from everyone else. Desperate for a friend, he seeks solace and refuge in his ever-present cell phone and tablet. When a mysterious creature uses Oliver's devices against him to break into our world, Oliver's parents must fight to save their son from the monster beyond the screen. All this creature wants is a friend...a friend FOREVER (insert diabolical laughter here). So, what did I think about this movie? It was...I mean...it was there. Stuff happened.
